Mindful Eating for the Summer Holidays
DATE: July 8, 2022
Time: 1.00pm – 3.00pm CET
Mindful Eating is a powerful practice which allows you to tune into your inner wisdom when it comes to food. It focuses on how you eat rather than what you eat – allowing you to enjoy all food while staying connected with your body’s needs moment by moment. And what better time to start practicing than the summer holiday season with holidays, weddings and BBQs and lots of amazing food experiences.
In this workshop you will learn:
- What Mindful Eating is
- How to eat mindfully and maximise taste satisfaction (with some of your favourite summer holiday foods)
- How to tune into your body cues such as hunger & fullness (interoceptive awareness)
- Reasons we overeat and mindfulness tools to overcome this
- How to motivate yourself with kindness rather than criticism
The format of the workshop will be experiential with guided mindfulness and mindful eating practices. The workshop will be interactive with opportunities for you to connect with your fellow participants as well as to share experiences and ask questions.
- 2-hour experiential workshop live via Zoom
- Access to recordings of all the meditations from the workshop
- A workshop handout with Mindful Eating tips for the holiday period
Who’s it for:
This workshop is for anyone who is interested in exploring Mindful Eating. We welcome all levels of experience.

She is a corporate wellbeing training facilitator, a mindfulness and mindful eating coach and a registered nutritional therapist. She has a passion to help people live healthier and happier lives through cultivating mindful awareness and a positive mindset, as well as empowering people to make the right food choices to help them realise their health goals. As Bernadette quickly approaches her 50th birthday, healthy aging and longevity are at the heart of her research. She works with individual clients as well as developing and facilitating group courses and workshops. Focus is placed on both the outer wisdom (eg latest evidence-based nutrition knowledge) and inner wisdom (eg awareness of body cues such as hunger and fullness, awareness of emotions), to ensure a holistic and sustainable approach to health.
